Miffy did not know anything about the robbery.

“Where are we?” asked Bambino.

“Well all the children are disappointed with their Christmas gifts. We are going to swap every ones presents round!” said Miffy.

“What? you are crazy !” replied Bambino.

They had to wait until everyone was asleep.

In the hours after midnight before Christmas day Miffy and Bambino began their work.

Miffy carried Susan’s little doll to Andrews and Ruth’s house. Ruth got a cooking set which she did not like at all. So Miffy left the doll in Ruth’s bedroom and took her cooking set away as well as Andrew’s music set.

“Bring that skate board with you, we can use it to carry the presents around,” Miffy told Bambino.

“Bambino did you hear me?” said Miffy.

Bambino was in the kitchen enjoying a bit of Turkey!”

So they moved on to the next house. Julies and Peters house. They left the cooking and the music set but took away the toy car and make up set!

Bambino took some chicken pie with him as well!

Then they went to John and Gina’s house. They swapped the car and make up set for the steam train and the dollhouse.

“These things are heavy!” complained Bambino. Licking his lips from another piece of chicken in sauce!

Finally arriving at Tracy and David’s house which is the richest of the houses on the estate and the one were the theft took place. They took some computer games. They both liked using their computers as they had one each. Miffy and Bambino left there the steam train and doll house. They took only a few of the game discs because they had so many of them. Susan did not have a computer.

Bambino was in such a hurry to go the kitchen for a bite to eat that he accidentally brushed himself against the flower pot. The button from the thief musician’s jacket got caught on Bambinos side!

“Come on Bambino its time to go home” Said Miffy.

Bambino is licking his lips of some more turkey!

The skate board was taken back to Andrew’s house.

Christmas morning.....

The police had arrived at Tracy and David’s house to investigate the theft of the family jewels.

At Christmas lunch at Susan’s house the family were saying what a terrible thing had happened at Tracy’s House.

“Yes and I found some computer games in my bedroom” said Susan.

“But I don’t have a computer!” she said.

Susan went to stroke Bambino and found the button stuck on his side.

“Look Dad, it looks like one of the buttons the musicians had on their uniforms last night” said Susan.

“Bambino must have picked it up last night from his walks in the neighbourhood” said Susan.

“I have a feeling it was from Tracy’s house” said Susan’s father.

The police immediately arrested one the musicians for the theft of the jewels.

Tracy’s father bought Susan a brand new computer. Something she always wanted but her family could not afford.

She was very happy!

“Merry Christmas” said Miffy to Bambino.

“Merry Christmas to you” said Bambino to Miffy while enjoying a juicy turkey leg!
